Ok i perfer that only guys answer this.........

I am chick <duh> and i wakeboard, snowboard, skateboard, and wakeskate, < im the only 1 in my marina the wakeboards tho> and i wanna know what you think about a girl like me, one who is active 24-7 lol all the guys in my marina say im to much of a man bc im always out there with them when they are kneeboarding and stuff and i dont sit on the docks worrying about how i look in my bathing suit like the other girls, So i wanna know what you guys think about chicks who board..BE HONEST lol and im 16 and live in ohio for the record Wink

It's a great thing. Chicks who are athletic turn me on like no other. I'd much rather have a chick that wants to get out there and try it, even if she sucks. It is such a turn on. Keep it up and I'm sure you'll find a bunch of guys that will say the exact same thing.

No, but in all seriousness a lot of guys think its cool when girls get out there and ride, and you shouldnt listen to the idiots at your marina that call you a man, cuz they dont even wakeboard at all so what do they know?

Girls that ride are hot. Simple as that. Lets say your looks make you a 6 but you ride. Well you easily get bumped up a point or two. Maybe it is the fact that you ride better than the guys (if they did wakebaord).

The girls that ride with us lounge in their bikinis, but when it is their turn to ride they put on the board shorts. The one girl that put makeup on, while on the boat, never got invited back out.

Surfer girls and motorcyclist chicks are sexy too.

I think that motorcycle chicks are old wrinkly and full of tatoos, motorcycle chicks are not hot. That is the harley girls, but chicks with crotch rockets ae sometimes hott.
But other than that, i think that if a girl rides, its awesome. Nothing better than a hott girl that rips on a board!

Wide A Wake when I wrote motorcycle chicks I wasn't referring to the old Saddle bags with eyes that ride on cruisers (Harleys). Sport bike chicks are hot. We don't let ugly girls ride. So much fun doing the thong check.

Girls that rip on a board and charge the wake, and try new things are a lot more desirable than lame girls that wont try anything new, or bitch about everything.

Keep riding Babe, you will find a dude that is totaly stoked that he finaly found you.

phantom5815's got it right. If you want to board, to he!! with everyone else - go board and who gives a rat's skinny butt if anyone doesn't like it.

Couple of funny things you find when you stop worrying about what others think and start worrying about being good at something: 1) you earn respect because you get good at what you're practicing - might take a while but it's worth it, and 2) those young ladies on the dock worrying about how they look in their bikini? You'll look a lot better then they will because you board and push your body to its limits.

Find something you like to do and be passionate about it, people. Life's too short to ride a flat rollercoaster.

i can't stand girlie-girls. I fell for my present girlie the moment I swung by to pick her up after one of the worst faceplants I'd seen in a while. Had this big'ol smile, hair all messed up, and insisted that she try again. Now, unless you're all beefy and dikish, the guys that aren't interested are materialistic and lame. Why do you want to attract them anyway? You'd be wasting your time and emotions.

Not to sound like an a-hole here, but a lot has to do with your location. I grew up all over the midwest and couldn't wait to leave it. Sure, Orlando is lame too, but I could care less about the midwest WT mentality that is here, even though geographically we're in the south. No, not everyone from the midwest is WT, in saying so I'd be incriminating myself and a lot of good friends and it just insn't true. The fact remains that the majority of guys in the midwest (who probably don't ride or kneeboard instead) are looking for that bleached platinum blonde bimbo high-maintenance fake Pam Anderson lookalike. I'll bet most guys in this forum will say that they're OK to look at, but when it comes down to it, pure physical sex just isn't that important and they'd rather be with someone they can have a good time with instead of a trophy.

Guess I wrote too much, but I really just hope you don't follow the flow of all the other prissy-fake WT mudsharks of the midwest in hopes of landing an equally lame guy.

My neighbor is a total hottie who rips it up. She may take too damn long to get ready because she has to be matching and cute and all that, but when she hits the water she is all bidness. Charges hard, gets great air, can throw a tantrum...generally just kills it every time she goes out. I know several other girls who just get after it hard too.

Keep riding your board and those same guys will be asking you how to do tricks in no time at all.

Ok Just for the update....I made one of the boys who picked on my the most try wakeboarding and man did he suck! i laughed at him for the rest of the day and he hasnt made fun of me since it was great not only could he NOT get up but once he did he couldnt keep balenced enough to stay up..ahhh it was the sweetest revenge Twisted Evil

I think its great that you are willing to go out there and ride with guys by yourself. I have taught 2 girls how to board since I started and they both learned faster than myslef or any guys I have taught.

wow tdes - that was a really cool and deep segment you wrote. all of the guys who responded are great too! wakebabe - keep riding strong apart from the negative vibe...it will make you a better wakeboarder because you have something to prove. i am lucky that the guys i ride with are super cool and supportive. i believe all those who share this passion hold a special bond.

Girls that ride are awesome. My girlfriend rides with me and my buddies all the time. My girlfriend is a true girly-girl though. she has to make sure she looks perfect before she hits the water. I call her the "sleeper" because when my buddies met her for the first time they thought she was only there to ride along. Then she bet one of my friends that she could do a wake to wake indy better than him. He took the bet and he did do it bigger but she went out there and threw a wake to wake indy grab and all my buddies gave her a lot of compliments and totally treat her with respect becuase she rides well. Needless to say she is the best female rider that is on our boat because all the other girls wont get in the water.

I landed the perfect girl. Very Happy

Nice west coast. My girly takes a bazillion yeears to get ready too, but that's just girls. I just watch cartoons or get the boat prepped up. The important point is that she is never apprehensive when I ask her to get her hands dirty when it comes to fixing/adjusting things with the boat. And after we're done riding, she's all about going out for a drink directly afterwards all laked-out and skanky from riding all day wihtout going home to freshen up. To me, there's nothing more attractive than a girl that is not obsessed with how she looks.
