is there any device that has rca inputs, outputs and a cb style mic in that works as such:
when mic is keyed, the mic sound is pumped through the rca outputs. when its is not keyed, it passes through the input from the deck.
this way we can heckle the boarder from the boat easier |

+1 on the Wetsounds WS420 EQ...
It mutes the towers and you can talk through it while the interior plays on and when keyed off music returns to the towers. It is the best investment by far and it is helpful when you have idiots riding 100ft behind your rider to be able to yell at them to move out of your wake...great control of every set of speakers and I couldnt imagine not having one. _________________ How much work would a network work if a network could network? |

damn, thats as pricy as the wetsounds version.
i got an amp today off craigslist that turned out to be a POS. i'm about to have the tower speaker setup pretty soon.
check this out: http://www.tnt-audio.com/ampli/t-preamp_e.html
i'm going to finish my perfect pass project first, but perhaps making a simple circuit with the TC9208N and then making a small mic pre-amp for the input.
the really low tech way is just to buy an inexpensive mic pre-amp, some DPDT relays and splice into some RCA wires. |
