As the title describes, according to the non-wakeboarders on the boat I get good pop then start my rotation but I always seem to land rear leg heavy. I noticed sometimes I look at the boat when i'm roating and i know that not right, but i always fall when i do that so i don't know if thats the reason.
Any ideas....sorry no vids buddy can't find his camera cable. haha

Maybe you're opening up to the boat too soon to get on your edge? Like a frantrum?

Chris-Maybe, I don't really know. When you say opening up do you mean that I'm still facing the boat as opposed to squaring up with the wake...I could see how that would screw it up.
Well after trying a few more times i noticed that i pull the rope into myself everytime. So i gotta believe that im pulling myself off axis, hopefully its that easy to correct. I'm also still watching the boat instead of looking backward, I don't know why I do that. And I know I do it but can't seem to break that habbit.

Well, I say that because a tantrum would land pretty level, you don't really turn back into your edging position till the very end of the flip. If you're looking at the boat, I think that's your problem, but I can see why you have a tendency to do that. If you look straight back, you'll see the landing early, and it will keep your shoulders square. Try that, and let us know if it helps.

Well if your looking at the boat when you start you rotation and looking over your lead shoulder instead of your rear, it will throw you off axis, this is what it should look like. You can see how i'm taking the flip straight up then back from a squared position, and looking in the direction i want to take the flip. It's important to get a fairly good cut into the wake but squaring up at the right time is going to determine all your pop. As for pulling the handle in, this isn't so much a bad thing, keeping the handle in close makes the rotation smoother and on axis, i keep my arm locked in that position through the rotation and let out slowly once the landing comes around. You'll get it and once you do it will be burned into your muscle memory forever. Hope this can be of some help.
Cool
