I am trying Kyle Schmidt's "low impact" heelside backroll training sequence. I am on step 2 of 4 right now.
Here is his instructional video. Please compare his step 2 to mine, as seen in the following video. Am I throwing it too mexican style? Any tips on how I can roll it more?
Kyle's instructional video:

thanks!!
(and fyi im riding at 70 feet, 19mph. i think he says 65 / 19 for step two but i was lazy and didn't feel like taking it in 5 feet) _________________ Don't listen to advice from people who can't land that trick. My list:

| I used to huck these without that needed line tension wich would always throw me out far and low. These video's really show you the proper way to progress the trick wake to wake. The real key here is obviously loading the line and keeping your edge all the way up the wake, initiate the rotation upwards once popped off the lip, spot your landing and ride it out keeping your edge into the landing. Learnwake ROCKS |

I did some more step 2 and hurt my knee on a landing. Once its better I'm going to move to step 3. I'd much rather be landing in the middle than the flats. It was just too hard of a landing.
Any other critiques of my form? I feel like I'm throwing it more like a front flip than a backwards cartwheel. But thats how the load and release seems to pop me....idk... _________________ Don't listen to advice from people who can't land that trick. My list:
