Howdy. Billy here. Soon I'll be on the lens side of the camera for the next ad for The Wakeboard Camp, as I'm one of the coaches.
I've been trying to decide what tricky maneuver I should perform for said ad. I figure that this could be a fun chance to see what the Wakeboarder.com community has to think about it.
So, suggestions? I've got things I can do, things I can't do, and I'm certainly not too cool to do something more stupid than cool for it...if the idea is good enough. The ad will be a single riding shot, no sequence or anything.
The only thing that I'm ruling out is the girlfish grab.
Thank you kindly.

Lyle, lol Nice!
toothpick, do a HS jump with no line tension and let go with both hands to do a two handed method then grab the handle and do a late 180. Can't say I've ever seen that, but I think it would be sick.

I personally like a big ol' batwing off of the double up. I've always thought it was by far the best looking trick...

Lyle, awesome, haha. Many of these suggestions wouldn't really come through in a single photo, ya know? Also, no nukes for me thank you. Christobull, I was thinking of possibly whipping out my suicide method fashion. Not too sure.
Lyle, I just got my tantrum to blind tonight...FINALLY!
So, not sure I've seen anything I'm super excited about. I was thinking of riding in formal attire, since I'm the church-going coach here at TWC. Maybe that route, not sure. We'll try to make it good somehow.
Ooo, maybe a tindy frantrum!

| It will run in Wakeboarding Magazine. It won't be for a few months probably. I think the next one we're running is a group shot of the camp staff and the campers who were with us at the time.

I forgot to update this post when the ad ran. So here goes.
This is the ad that was in Wakeboarding Magazine. As a neat little bonus, my neighbor and good friend Ben Greenwood was on the cover, yeah! This was a switch mute hs 180.
And as a Wakeboarder.com bonus, here's the other ad Kyle made that we didn't use. Just a little indy tantrum.
So really, I kind of just went out there, rode around, and did the moves that felt good that day. Sorry I didn't really honor anybody's request!
More bonus because I'm up late and still not tired!
We had an idea to do a basketball shot for the non-wakeboard part of the ad. So on the first take, if you will, we got a decent shot, but when I came down, I screwed my ankle over pretty good. I think I was all nervous or something, pretty weak really. So, as a result, that day was my last real good riding day in 2009. Now you know! Pics below:
The dunk with a healthy ankle.
About 5 minutes after the above picture.
I was all sweaty and shaky after that ankle sprain, so I went home and we did sitting shot the next day. Thanks Kyle! The End

Great ads, and further proof that basketball is a dangerous sport
