what did you use for foam on the sides? I've used a variety of things that fall apart. Would love to put something that doesnt tear so easily on mine. _________________ Today is a chance to become a greater person than the person we were the day before. |

So is it for like vinyl siding? I used some of that at the bottom but it was tapered. Not nice and flat like yours is. part no. perhaps? _________________ Today is a chance to become a greater person than the person we were the day before. |

| This looks like the old Wake Worx rack which was made out of a composite plastic material. It turned out pretty good. If you wanted to make the bungee cleaner, just drill a hole on the end of the fork towards your current hole for the bungee, then drill your current bungee hole a little bigger, you can slip the cord down the inside of the fork, tie a knot and pull it back through. Then the knot isn't hanging off in lala land and is tucked inside the rack. The best part about this, you only have 3 parts, the fork, the back and the clamp, so shipping this unassembled for mass production is extremely affordable. The only bad part about using composite plastic is that it strips easily, so keep that in mind when you sent your warranty (return) on this, it could eat you alive. Good luck. |

I'll take some for a buck twenty five.
But, this does look really good. Is this related to what you do for work? You're either doing this kind of thing professionally or have really good attention to detail. What is the rough cost in material? _________________

I like that a lot. It's got style which a lot of board racks don't. I think I'd put the foam completely around the edges of the rack so you don't nick them up. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

Real nice job on that. I wish I had some skill and could make something that looked that clean.
You can find the black bungee cord if you need that. I did some searching and found the exact stuff that all the other rack makers use(I still have some of it). I even found a place that would cut and sew the pull tags for the bungee. _________________ Wakeskating
