I've gotten back on the board after about 6 years off and I think my equipment may be a bit dated. I have a 98 Hyperlite Revelation 142. It has 2 fins centered on each end. My skill level is low to intermediate, I can land consistent 180's and the occasional 360, but my pop is inconsistent and I'm often out of control in the air. I've been working on progressive cuts to the wake and when I get decent air I land in the flats and the board feels loose and it isn't very forgiving. I don't have any boardshops nearby so I can't really try anything out. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I weigh 180lbs.

i demoed this board and wow amazing. pop, edge changing, everthing.

yeah if your throwing 3s youve got no business on a single fin surfboard Laughing
update your gear and i bet youll love it. just the confidence and pride in the new gear will make you rider harder.

also love my 08 shane. a bit heavy though.

That seems like a big jump up from a beginner board. Could that limit my progress??
