let the boat pull you back to the middle....when you edge all the way out come off your edge and let the baot naturally pull you onto your ts edge and then start your ts edge and so on

you really have to focus on your progressive edge more then anything for your toeside...

Rope Length won't have anythign to do with it except how wide the wake is that you are riding on.

I am working on my TS edge now to and rope and body position has a lot to do with maintaining line tension. You have to keep the rope low and on your hip while edging into the wake. This alone helped me out a lot.

I was letting off edge a bit and with the rope in the wrong position, I was getting slack because my arms would let out a bit, but by concentrating on keeping the rope low and my hip to the rope and rope to my hip I don't let out and even if I let off edge, the natural pull of the boat maintains tension and provides some pop.

Once you get to this, it becomes all about the progressive edge.

Now if I could just put it all together on Toe Side.

lake shredder, what he's saying is that when you initiate the cut back instead of letting the boat pull you back, you're not using the progressive edge correctly. Even on your hardest cuts at the wake, the first step is letting the boat pull you in. Slow the whole process down, and you'll stop getting that slack which is likely jerking your off edge at the point where you should be starting to dig in harder.

lake shredder, not too fast, just too early. In other words, it sounds like you're trying to cut hard right at first, then when you get to the wake, you're not progressively cutting harder. That will end up causing the same problem as just flattening off.

No, as a matter of fact, it would be good for you to start close and gradually go further and further out, so you get used to progressively charging the wake instead of just charging. Try putting a video up after your next time out. I might be way off base with my advice.

all you have to do is when you cut out on your heels hard flatten out for a couple seconds before you begin your toeside cut... this will load the line with the tension you need to clear the wake toeside

If you're just carving out then immediatly back in, it's not a progressive edge.

The proble, you're having is simple. When you carve out you're moving faster then the boat is. so when you hit the end point the rope slacks. You need to let this slack go away. You also can't just start carving hard at the wake or once again you start moveing faster then the boat and generate slack in the line. you need to progressively turn the board and let the boat pull you through the jump rather then you trying to carve through the wake.
