Sorry i dont have a video, but when i do the Hs fs 3 and miss the handle, i land easily, but with no handle.

when i do grab the handle, as i come around about 270 degrees, the handle gets tension and pulls me over into BRUTAL falls, how do i keep the handle from pulling me over the front as im about to land?

I don't know for sure what's causing it, maybe the way you pull the handle in, where you keep the handle or you're not setting your proper axis before you spin, but think about showing the guys in the boat the bottom of your board the whole time you spin. If you do that, you know your hips are staying back, then it's just a matter of keeping your shoulders back as well.

its cause your shoulders are getting in front of your hips. relative to the boat. if you keep your shoulders behind your hips you will stay on axis.

kent2010, maybe that is his question. I'm hopping on board here as well since I also have this problem from time to time.

How does one consistently keep the shoulders from getting in front of the hips. Is it is as simple as pulling the rope to the hip that will lead the spin instead of holding the handle up too high (closer to the shoulders than the hips)?

pet575, its trying just to pull the handle to your hip that brings your shoulders out in front. your supposed to just move the handle back and roll your back hip to it. that should keep your shoulders behind. and dont start the rotation by turning your head. if you do that your shoulders will follow and be in front of your hips in no time.

I had that problem and pet575 pretty much answered it. On a HS FS 3, you should pull the rope to your back hip and slow the rotation down but pop higher. You should be more in control this way.
