are surface 180s and powerslides easier without fins? im guessing they would be but i wasnt sure _________________ anything is possible |

Not necessarily. Unless they're 3" long or something. On you're board you would hardly notice it. My HL has the same fin setup, and riding without the middle fin makes no difference as far as I can tell, except when I land flat. If your middle fin would be in the water, so would your molded ones, even though they don't catch water quite the same. _________________

I ditched my middle fins as they were quite large, made 180'2, 360's much easier. _________________ Suck it up and get hardcore! |

i ride my midle fins but im pretty sure its only a 1in so it doesnt make that much of a difference and since im too lazy to get up and look at it we'll just say and inch. however after landing my 180s i do feel it catch in but it does not really make much difference _________________

Without the middle fins is the way to go!
With the fins you get a "false" edging feeling too.. so it can help your technique later on if you take them off now. |
