Alright I was thinking about how i visualize myself wakeboarding compared to freeskiing (on snow). When i visualize for a new trick skiing it's usually more of a First-person type of thing, but when I visualize something new for wakeboarding it tends to be Third-person. What about you guys??
I think the First-person visualization helps me more, but i cant quite get a Frist-person view of myself wakeboarding. Some kind of mental block |

What I do is get a handle, and figure out exactly where how my body should be positioned throughout the trick, as well as what I'll be looking at and what way the boat will be pulling me. _________________

I can see what you're talking about. If I'm going to try something on the water I always attempt it on the trampoline first, so that way I not only visualize it but I make sure I can at least rotate it in the air.
It helps quite a bit, and very helpful for learning skate tricks too. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

| Unfortuanatly I don't have a trampoline or a good camera. I'll probably get a camera since it's a good investment for later as well... I wish I got the wakejump where I cut my head open on video so i don't do it again haha. But i cased pretty hard and caught an edge. |

| i dont really visualize anything except for spins, and then its not really visualizing it, just when im cutting away and back in im saying to myself pop, wait, pull, pass, land the whole time. it works pretty well. |

| kent2010, I do the same thing when I'm working on tricks. I kinda make a checklist in my head.. but sometimes if I think about it too much I have a much harder time landing anything. |
