I have basically two questions.

One) What is the easiest way to rewire a boat with a fiberglass floor? Trim controls and gauges all need new wires. Should I even bother going through the expandable foam like the original wiring?

Two) Is there a spray on insulation that works well in wet conditions, can be cleaned, doesn't brush off? I have two applications I was wanting it for. The first is to insulate the under-seat storage to improve the sound quality of the stereo. And the second is to put inside the dog house to reduce engine noise. I realize there are specifically designed material for this, but I think something that was sprayed on would do a better job.

one) i would just re-run them and bundle them all in a flexible tube under the gunwhale. old extension cords works great. especialy for wiring lights, and the radio, and most gauges. as they have 3 wires kept all neat for you.

2) i would think a couple layers of dynomat would be the best i think. everything that ive used that you spray, usually falls off after awhile, and if it ever gets wet, it just falls off. unless its like bed liner. but for the price, i think dynomat would work the best.
