I have a few HS inverts down and now i want to start learning some TS. Ive tried a Crow and it wasnt pretty... would a ts backroll be easier or should i just keep on working at the Crow? Does anyone have any pointers on either one of the tricks, because im going to be learning both of them eventually...

Crows are super simple. Just do a poppy TS front with a real hard cut and hang on with both hands. Very natural feeling.

scarecrow is way easier. easiest TS invert IMO. ALso looks the coolest. However, if you have real solid tantrum you might consider the TS backroll. Similar rotations.

I've tried both and I'm actually still working on making those standard tricks in my bag.

I personally find the TS backroll the easier rotation of the two.
I do ride with guys that think the crow is easier, I say it's just cuz they can land those.

alright i tried my first crows this weekend, my first time i landed on the board but just needed a little more height to ride away and every time after that was the same, all i did was cut hard TS and throw your head to your lead hip and the rotation takes its place, thats what i did but i never would wait for the pop so i wouldnt get hi enuf, im hoping to land one this weekend

For the crow - push of the wake hard with the front foot, wait for the pop and look under your lead arm pit.... So for me (regular) I would load up my left leg hard against the wake. wait for that pop and then look under my left arm pit. Keeping the handle in close to my head all the way around.

Like most tricks timing is everything I find that more so with this one, you can't leave early or the board just sticks to the wake and you get stuck up side down.
