I have them on my tower and they sound awesome to me. Granted don't fool yourself into thinking they are Wetsounds because they are not. However, they do everything I want them to do and I can hear my music loud and clear at 80'. The best part is I got them for $230 which is plenty of "bang for the buck" when you consider anything that will outperform them will run you $1000. If you're not concerned with being the loudest on the lake and just want good clean loud performance you can't go wrong with these IMO.

Some advice:

Get an amp that will send at least 150 watts RMS to each pod. There is night and day difference in performance if you have them underpowered.

Google wetsounds audio and look at the 480, p60 and p80 speakers, they are very top of the line marine audio speakers, kind of pricey but I can tell you first hand they sounds amazing! I however have KMT6's on my tower and have no problems rocking out to the music at 70'.
