I have them on my tower and they sound awesome to me. Granted don't fool yourself into thinking they are Wetsounds because they are not. However, they do everything I want them to do and I can hear my music loud and clear at 80'. The best part is I got them for $230 which is plenty of "bang for the buck" when you consider anything that will outperform them will run you $1000. If you're not concerned with being the loudest on the lake and just want good clean loud performance you can't go wrong with these IMO.
Some advice:
Get an amp that will send at least 150 watts RMS to each pod. There is night and day difference in performance if you have them underpowered. |

Google wetsounds audio and look at the 480, p60 and p80 speakers, they are very top of the line marine audio speakers, kind of pricey but I can tell you first hand they sounds amazing! I however have KMT6's on my tower and have no problems rocking out to the music at 70'. _________________ Lets see how many cliche inspirational sayings we can throw at the rider in one pull, they really do help... |
