What's everyones plans for the 4th?

I'm going camping with my future roommate down in auburn, his girlfriend and one of her friends for the weekend. What's everybody else up to?

Fortunately, I'm heading up to our lake house this coming Thursday and will up there until the following Sunday. Plan on doing a lot of surfing, eating, and hanging out with the buds and budettes. Can't wait!!

Yup taking detailed pics this year.

Total of all the loot.
1st board wired up.
A close up of how I link the fuses.
It all laid out out on the barge.
A detailed pic of the grand finally pieces.
A pick of the barge so you have an idea on how it's made.

Started my first board last night and I actually have to leave 2 pieces out cuz they wont fit on the barge...
We are officially well over the $2k mark this year with some of the pieces coming from PA that you can't get in NH.

Doing something a bit different this year due to the volume of stuff I have - my first board will run with two fuses simultaneously (to keep the speed up) and then go into the bigger 500 gram cakes with one fuse and then split into 3 fuses for the grand finale stuff.. quite the spectacle if I do say so myself.

So if all goes as planned and it usually does my grand finale will be 4 500 gram cakes and tube racks going off together for a total of 5 times right down the line...

A) will be the smaller stuff running with two fuses - B) 500 gram cakes one at a time with some overlap - C) same thing but in the middle I will jump into the 2 G rows and run out each way left to right at the same time. all tube racks and 500 gram cakes.....

We're going to the lake Friday and Saturday, then having a bbq on Sunday with some friends. Should be a good long weekend.

Will be shooting a my city's fireworks show. Other than that, just relaxing, and shooting mroe shows. Have one on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th this year...

A good friend of mine that runs a stage production company puts on a blow out hog roast and multi kegger. It pretty much has evolved into a huge block party with live bands, and it is only 6 blocks from where the city shoots it's show. Plus it's around the corner from my brothers house so no worries about driving, parking ect. I can just pass out on his couch.

Trying to figure out if we can do something like this on a smaller (CA legal) scale using fuses. Haven't the first clue where to get the fuses though. Confused

no mas devil's cove for me. don't have run of a big ass boat anymore and it's a whip to do that mess in a wakeboard boat. nevermind that the lake is 36' below normal and it's a no refusal weekend for the cops. i'll be doing the same thing as last 4th, minus one lost aussie. our ratio is strong right now - me and the boat owner, plus 6 chicks.

Sorry I took so long.
Finally back from all my July vacation time - had the wife to put the pics on a CD so I could get this done at work.

Like all good plans - they never work out 100%.
I got rushing around again and forgot to take pics at every single stage.
However I did do much better than years past.
The only thing I didn't get was a good complete pic while in the garage and a good pic of just the barge.
Every single block went off (like always) and the show was +20 minutes easy...

Shot a show for a private community not too far from here. Awesome environment and food! Very Happy

That evening I had a ham&turkey sandwhich, a huge hot dog, a bbq sandwich, pasta salad, macaroni, chips, 1/2 gallon of sweet tea, 2 sodas, and dessert. I was stuffed to say the least.
