A little more info please ....

What are you looking at? What's your skill level? What do you like/how do you like the board to feel? Some people like loose, some like solid tracking. Some like a good consistent pop, some like to get thrown off the wake like you would get thrown off of a bull. What's your preference? If you can answer any or all of these questions with some degree of accuracy, then go down to your local board shop & tell them, then demo whatever they recommend.

"Best" is highly subjective & everyone will give you a different answer.

DEFINITELY the Element 146. I guarantee it's the best most sickest illest whackest board you will EVER ride! Even though it's a couple years old nothing touches it!!! Rolling Eyes Confused Rolling Eyes Mad

Sorry... I'm getting sick of these "Best" questions...

I didn't know hyperlite makes an Element board. But yeah it depends on your style, size, height, weight, and if your a beginer. I personally love Byerly boards.

Maybe he thinks the name is cool. I ride the Belmont, and I love it. You also should check out the Gear Guide and www.hyperlite.com if you want more info on what people think are the 'best' boards.

Wakeboarding Magazine's Feb issue had a really good buyers guide on all the different companies and their products. Read that and be sure to demo anything before you buy.

K-Dub, well put.
I was in the same boat (he he) when I first wanted to snowboard. I wanted a Burton. Reason being, that's the brand I heard of most, and almost everyone was on it. After a season, and trying a different brand, I realized that Burton was not everything. I now ride an M3, and It rides better than any Burton I've tried since.

Do you see the correlation here..??

(I know correlation is a big word...so for those of you who don't understand...TRY A DIFFERENT BRAND!!!)

Why do you need the BEST board, are you the best rider?
Why not get a board that matches your riding style and skill level?
