I've been wakeboarding since last summer using friends' wakeboards and now I'm looking for my own. I don't really want to spend more than $400. I just started looking and found an '09 CWB 141 Pure Board w/ '08 Torq Boots for $350 (comes with a tube as well) and it seems like a good deal.
I also want a board to grow into because I've already started jumping the wake so I don't want a beginner board.
Is this a good package for me? and if not what are some other packages you guys recommend? |

| Well how much do you weigh? We need a little more info on board sizing. I rode an 08 pure and didn't really care for it. Like my murray much better. |

a 141 would be wayy to big. And yes its a '07 hyperlite murrary. And just look around on ebay and find some good deals. I just went on there and found an 08 Liquid Force ps3 for $188 and some 08 Shane CT's for $199. That would be a much better package then what you listed and fits in your $400 price range. Look around on ebay find something you like and post it here. We will tell ya if it's good or not
For some reason nothing show's up when i post the url's? So just go to ebay and look at a few boards and bindings and show em to us. |

| Well, how old are you? Are you going to be growing yet? I would definitely look at some 08 gear though. Usually just as good as the 09 stuff just looks different and wayyy cheaper. |

I wouldn't go don to a 134, stick to the 136-138 range a board that is a bit big is way better then one that is to small IMO. My brother is about your size and rides a 138 CWB faction and really likes it. I've rode it a couple times and it was ok, but I weigh 225 so it's to small for me and felt real sluggish. _________________

| Id agree with Jeffrey on that one. Im 14 about 5'10" about 145-150Lbs and ride a 07 murray 138. Got it for $150 bucks from a friend and couldn't pass it up. I've never ridden a smaller board then 138 so i really don't know what a smaller board would ride like but i like my murray alot. |

One piece of advice is to go for previous year models. By doing so you have hundreds of dollars on the best gear from last gear, which will be minimally, or not at all different from the current years equipment
I paid 120 (2008) for $400 (2009) bindings because of this 0.0 _________________ 2008 LF witness board
