| Where do I go about starting? I'm ready to start pushing myself to learn one, and have no clue which one to start with etc. Tips? I'm thinking I'll be learning it heelside, because my toeside jumps lack air. |

I'd recommending trying both a backroll and a tantrum, and seeing which one feels easier for you. There should be more than enough info in other posts on here for you to look at.
Backroll = progressive edge, basically trying to cut away from the boat off the wake and looking up and over your lead shoulder.
Tantrum = trip flip edge, get your progressive edge built up and right at the bottom of the wake back off and square up, from here it's just a backflip, try to pop up first before throwing your head back.
My opinion is a tantrum is easier because you spot your landing so early. |

| vjwot, pretty much said it all.... i learned hs backroll first but i think the tantrum is way easier. if you go for a tantrum take a progressive edge in and right at the bottom of the wake drop your back hand and square up your body to the boat and then from there like he said it is just basically a back flip. |
