So I want to try some inverts toeside but i dont know what i should try first.. I am extremely comfortable upside down and i have tantrums and heelside backrolls down easily. does anyone have suggestions for which toeside invert to try first? and if so a few simple steps for starting them? thanks!

scarecrow is pretty natural. It's like a tantrum where you back off your edge and then flip but going toeside and over the front instead of the back.

Toeside backroll was always a tricky one for me because I have a hard time going forwards and flipping backwards, but you might not have that problem.

i have heard that the scarecrow is easier than the toeside front roll because the spin is natural.. what do you think i should do first a toeside front roll or a scarecrow?

Since you already have the heelside backroll down, you could get the toeside backroll pretty easy. its what i did. But its different for everyone

Just go out, try all three, and which ever one you come the closest on, try that.

who knows, mabey youll stick all three first try

Either a backroll or a scarecrow. Backroll to revert is a little easier since you keep both hands on the handle...

i learned ts backroll to revert before ts back roll...ts backroll is easy, you just have to learn to stand tall off the wake and wait to flip. Scarecrow and ts frontroll are the easiest to learn tho imo.

Grow a pair and go for them both. If you can already do hs inverts you should be prepared and know what to expect for toeside ones. Make sure you have a solid progessive edge.

kriggs, i was under rotating every time too and some guy on another boat was watching me and when i got out of the water he pulled up and told me that all i needed to do was concentrate on standing tall off of my back foot and that would flip me around more and i did that and now i can land it almost every time

just hold on with both hands all the way through the flip and it should bring you around 180. its a pretty natural rotation. im having to work pretty hard to keep my frontrolls a frontroll and not so much crow lately.
