|
|
| Im new to the wakeboarding sport. I have been looking at the different board types and im thinking on going with the ronix frontier. The only thing that is confusing is the size boards. I know it goes by weight and size so what would I be looking for if im 5'6 160? I get a range from 130 to 140. Want a good trick board to work with. |

Board manufacturers generally give a weight range for each of their various board sizes. While you don't necessarily HAVE to stay in the range, it would probably be in your best interest to do so. At 160 lbs you will probably want something in the 137 to 140 range. Again, just a guideline, but a 130 would almost certainly be too small.
And as always, I'll add that binding selection is more important than board selection. Buy a good quality, proper fitting set of boots or else it won't matter what board you buy. _________________ Hilton Head Wake Sports.com

| 400. one package I was looking at started at 349.00 for the ronix frontier. The other was a ronix vault 390.00. If I have to spend more for something better id rather save and buy a better board and binding package. Comfort and light weight I would think is better. |

Most of the board companies have board packages in the $299, $350, $399 and $500. In your price range you can get the Kink, Pure, PS3, Groove, or Forefront. At that price range there are not many package setups that are not in your price range. _________________ Wakeskating
