I've been scouring Ebay looking for a new (used) prop for weeks. Just missed one, auction ended while I was out riding lol. Anyway, I am looking for a 13 1/2 - 14" RH 15 spline 17p 4 or 5 blade prop for a mercruiser alpha one i/o. All the ones I find on Ebay are 19p and I really want a 17p so I can sac my boat out later. If anyone has one of these props laying around please let me know. _________________

| If you fnd a 2nd one, let me know, lol. bit the bullet and bought a used 19" 5 blade, hoping it works for me. I wanted a 17" as well for the same reasons. |

What size motor and boat do you have? I have a 3.8 L mercruiser, I'd be interested to know how that 19 works for you since I find a lot of those. I might have to bit the bullet and pay a chunk for one, I'd rather get just what I know will work rather then drop a couple 100 on something that won't work. _________________

For a 3.0L Merc that you want to pull with, don't get a 19p. a 17p high five is the best one I've HAD. I thought it was a little too much so I sold it and got a 19p and regret selling it ever since. Cant seem to find another one unless I want to buy a new one for $500. _________________

Two weeks too late, havent tried it yet but I bought it and gonna hope for the best.
What was the reason you thought it was too much and the issue with the 19"?
Thanks |
