So I've been trying to get Wake to Wake down and I think I'm getting close but I'm not quite getting it. I don't have a video but I think I know what I'm doing wrong. As I go to stand tall at the wake I think I come off my edge. I also notice that I don't land on my edge. By coming off it at the wake could that cause me be pulled forward by the boat if so I think that is my problem.
Sucks that I can't get back out until next weekend at the earliest...

Well, with you falling over is right, you should keep your edge once you land, but i think that your falling over because your hitting the wake and going off balance. Just keep a PROGRESSIVE edge all the way through the wake and extend at the top

Go back to basics the next time out for your first run:

Instead of jumping the wake, try and ride through the wake keeping a continual edge throughout, and letting your knees take the shock. Keep your upper body in the same exact position all of the way through. THis will teach you to stay on the same edge when eventually landing a w2w.

Then practice ollies in between wakes for a little while until you can pop them up with board out of the water without the aid of the wake.

Now jump the wake from inside out. In other words, dont jump the first wake, but ride it letting your knees absorb the pop, and jump the next wake from the inside.

THen do a one wake jump, then start trying wake to wake again.

This progression has helped everyone I know build up to the w2w correctly and strongly.

Keep in mind on these jumps, the board must remain pointed in the same direction as when you take off, or your landing will get stuttered.
