Bindings...

Upgrading my board and bindings. I'm 14, about 5'7 and around 125 lb's. I think the board im getting is the 08 B-side 131, about right? and i just have absolutely no clue about bindings, should i get closed toe? Thinking my feet are going to continue growing, im a 10 atm.. or open toe. I can't be spending $400 on bindings. thikning around 150? Rolling Eyes

Look around on ebay at some of the 08 stuff. I just scored some 08 LF transits for $106 shipped. There are some really good deals. I also found some killer deals on boards, you just have to look around. Also, if you look around on some of the retail sites, they have some killer clearance areas. Personally, I'm not a fan of CT bindings. If you think you might continue to grow in the feet, I'd go OT just for the fact that you'll get more wiggle room and flexibility out of them.

As for board size, I think 131 would be ok, but again, if you think you're gonna continue to grow, I'd go 135 or 137 so you don't find yourself buying a new board for next year, just when you've gotten used to your new one. Just IMHO

I got a pair of 07 3ds bindings, best bindings ive ever had. SOOo stiff and responsive, closed toe. Did I mention they are awesome
