I was just wondering if anyone has ever landed a trick by accident? Last year I was working on my 3s and got completely off axis and ended up throwing a huge hs fs off axis 5...lost the handle of course (so i didnt exactly land it), but rode away standing. This was before I could even throw a regular 3. _________________ Work Hard. Play Hard. |

Does a face plant count?? If so, then yes, I have accidentally landed a TS FP 90 (translation, toeside face plant, 90 degrees straight down). Hurt like a biatch, which is why I decided to give up wake boarding and move over to wake surfing. I can't afford the injuries at my age. _________________

Heel backside 3 is the only trick I've ever landed first try, and I'm not honestly sure if it was entirely intentional or not, that last frontside 180 is pretty natural feeling though. _________________ wakeboards

| I'm still not sure exactly how I did it, but I was trying to throw a nose grab r2r. Completely missed the grab but ended up stomping a HS OA ole 5. Tried it a few more times and couldn't even come close to landing it again. |

Similar story for me. ^^^
I landed my first hs ole' 5 by accident. I meant to do a monkey 3 of the doubleup, but I got booted kind of weird. There was no chance of making the handle pass, and I put my arm up without thinking, and ... stuck it. Weird.
Also, I have a mental block with tantrums. From time to time I have been known to do a frontside 180 when attempting a tantrum. It's the weirdest thing. Sometimes I do them perfectly, and then sometimes I completely embarrass myself. Maybe I'll try to relearn them this year. |

| Kind of like DRAGON88, I lost my balance when messing around with doing backside 180s with an early handle pass and pulled it around to a 3. I landed it, then it hit me that I just did a new move. Only time that has happened for me. |
