So i got my Launch Pad ballast the other day with the Uber Pump...turns out my dumb boat doesn't have a 12V plug-in though...so here I am stuck with a weightless boat (although I have a pylon) still...and I'm about 2 inches from clearing wake to wake without weight...hmmmm...annddd the left side of the wake is washin out pretty easily...I dunno what to do. Nothing ever works out for me...all I wanna do is riiiiiiide and progress...is that too much to ask for? haha. _________________ "Impossible is Nothing"

A 12v plug in should be easy and cheap to install, it should also be fairly easy to find too...
If the left side is washing out, then you need to add weight to the opposite side of the boat until it balances out. Little bit of patience and you'll get there. _________________ wakeboards

Good call! My dad was sitting on the side opposite of me while my friend was riding...he has a good 50 pounds on me...I guess it made a big difference though. Why can't wake boats just be cheap and affordable for poor college kids like me? hahaha. _________________ "Impossible is Nothing"

My old boat didn't have a receptical either. I cut off the plug and attached alligator clamps to each wire. You can get them at Autozone or elsewhere for about $3. Then you just clamp each one to the respective battery terminals and you are good to go. _________________ "I'm not a professional wakeboarder, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn last night". |

| Or you could buy a 12v outlet at said autozone for a few bucks and have a usable power source for all kinds of cool stuff. Phones, ipods, spot lights, etc |

LakeIolaLuke, I think you're right haha. Everyone's right...I'll have to hit up autozone and look for a 12v outlet _________________ "Impossible is Nothing"

Didn't take the time to read any of these posts cause I'm tired so if this has already been said I'm sorry. Go to walmart and buy this. It is the car 12v plug thing, and it has 2 wires running off of it with ends like jumper cables to clip on your battery.
Works great thats what I had to use. |
