Well, I bet everyone is getting real tired of these threads already. To spare your eyes and to stop beating a dead horse, I will make it quick. I tried out a slingshot for a demo because I was looking for a new board, and what do you know? Oh yeah, it's probably the best board I have ever used. Got hooked up on an 08 for pretty cheap and I love it, using my 07 Ronix Scouts with them and I just love how it feels. The other riders in my crew love them too except one buddy who just has not had the chance to use it yet since he has two fresh nipple piercings and was nervous. My core on my old obrien went to hell and I was just riding like stuff on it so I figured I would add slingshot to my list of demos, and it is straight up amazing. The wake is small because my wedge broke and we are riding a short line becuase it's our third session out. My girlie's camera ran out of battery so we had to use her crappy one for some pictures so excuse the quality. Anyways, I will try to get some better pictures of the crew and myself with some more impressive quality and tricks. Enjoy! BTW, water was 63 air was 57, just met my requirement of Air+Water=120

hco, I hea ya man, rip it up!!!! My first ride this year was in 55 water 70 air, not bad once you get over the initial shock and can smooth your breathing out. Riding cold water will tell you exactly where your cardio is.

ilubronix, Cold water does not promote large juevos kinda the opposite, your walnuts become peanuts real quick Laughing

That small wake is bigger than the biggest I can create on my boat any day! I really want to demo a Slingshot one of these days, but until I have enough dough to put up for another board I'll just have to wait. I'm stoked that Slingshot is surviving though, competition is good for all the board companies. And hco, I bet that water was feeling pretty nice on bails after 57 air!

Yeah, unfortunately forgot to remove the sticker from the bottom and lost it to the lake, I feel like poop for littering it. Yes it is a response and like I said when you are really looking for a new board just ask your local guy about leftovers. It is blemished and is also an 08 response and I am ending up rihgt at about 200$.

ilub- they may have been bigger before, but they are definitely smaller now. BUt, you go alot bigger than me with some dope steeze and tricks so yours are definitely bigger than mine.

Jeff- yeah, i found out my cardio is at that of a morbidly obese person. Need to take it easy on the college diet and lifestyle.

Prior- yeah, the water was real nice.

My buddy grabbed some real nice shots today with a nikon d40 so they should be up later, I will post for amusement.
