Check this out! Moves with the rope, horizontal and vertical so you can get closer shots. With adjustments. And quick clamp so you can remove or relocate where you want.
So are you planning on making more? I could see that taking off well...I sure am interested...esp with the quick connect clamps...thats what I need cause when the bimini is closed..that piece is blocked... _________________ How much work would a network work if a network could network?
I must apologize for our lack of responsibility. Our IT department had quite the problem with our incoming mail over the past number of months, though we were unaware of the issue. I have recovered all of your emails from the company that has maintained a server for us. I know there are a few hundred emails here so please disregard if I have already spoken to you in person or emailed you.
SO..the video mount
The first prototypes were a pretty big success (please see the photos above), and we took that design and developed enhancements that we feel make it even better. We are putting together a brochure that has better information and better photos at the moment. The new design has a few new features that are terrific. If any of you already have the previous design, you are welcome to send it in and trade it in for the new model. The trade in cost will be shipping only. We want to let everyone know that our customer service is priority and we stand behind our products.
The first image is the new design, the second is a photo of the first generation on a MB Tomcat.
The mount swivels in the lateral and vertical direction. This enables the camera to be zoomed in up close if desired, and the camera will track up and down through jumps. The clamping is true quick release (no tools required), and patent pending. We need to know the diameter of your tower tube where it will be mounted in order to make clamps that fit as well as the height of the rope lead above the tower to ensure there will be enough clearance. There is an adjustability knob at the junction where it meets the rope to fine-tune the height of the camera depending on what rope length you are using. There is a quick mount for the camera that also allows you to position the camera to obtain the best balance. The camera can be taken off the mount in seconds. The mounts look terrific, and are really a show piece. Everything is custom CNC milled out of billet aluminum and polished to a brilliant shine. This innovative design has no competition. We also offer customization; we can put a logo, name, design, etc on the mount that would be engraved into the aluminum. We have also fabricated a one clamp mount for ski-pylons, please let me know if you would like more information on those.
We are also developing another camera mount that will revolutionize videotaping watersports, though I can not share too many details at this point as we are seeking a patent. I will give you a hint though; it does not use the rope...
We are developing a whole line of goodies that utilize the clamps in different ways to put accessories on wakeboard towers. Just to let everyone know, I am not a business man. I own an engineering/fabrication company, but I am first a wakeboarder. I have been waterskiing since I was 6, which was 28 years ago, and wakeboarding since 1994. I truly love the sport. We always welcome any ideas that our customers have to share about creating new products that they would like to see.
For those of you that have emails dating back quite a while, please accept my sincere apology for the delay in my feedback.
Our current production is on hold until all of the new fixturing for the new design is complete; though it should be up and running very soon.
