A 30-year-old Northern California woman has pleaded not guilty to charges that she had sex with three teenage boys.
Deborah Towe faces 11 felony counts, including unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, oral copulation of a person under the age of 16, committing lewd acts upon a child and arranging a meeting with a minor for a lewd purpose.
The boys were 15 and 16 years old.
Police in Anderson, about 150 miles north of Sacramento, began investigating in April after two girls from a local middle school reported that a friend's mother was having sex with boys.
In a 48-page report released this week, Towe told police she was protecting her daughter by diverting the boys' attention to herself.
She denied the charges during an appearance Wednesday in Shasta County Superior Court. Towe remains jailed, with her bond set at $250,000.

| Sounds like this lady is quite the hussy type. 30 years old and she has a daughter that is around the age of 14-16 I am assuming. That would have made her 14-16 when she had her daughter....Just remember the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Uncalled for and unnecessary judgment on a child. We don't know what her daughter is like.. maybe she is a "hussy," but partially because people like you expect her to be and treat her as such?
idk.
noting to do with the woman charged. why would you even make a comment about the daughter?
Besides, her guilt or innocence can not be judged without a picture.

All you who are quick to judge this lady... remember what you were like as a 16 year old boy... would that be harmful... Hell no... you would be bragging in the locker room and you would be "The Man" to all your buddies.
As for her... who is to say he daughter may not be 12 or 13... they did say a middle schooler reported the act.
Though, if the daughter is a "Hussy" has nothign to do with others. That is her parents upbringing and her choice that affects that... nobody else should have a bearing on how she is. Certainly not anyone on here.

Man, I couldn't disagree more. Ya, I'll bet the "kids" were thrilled that they were having sex but how can you be in any position to say that this is not going to have lasting damaging effects.
Even if these guys spend the rest of their lives thinking they're awesome, how can you know that it's not going to interfere with them having intimate and meaningful relationships in the future? Or who knows what other effects it might have.

I was 16 and seeing 26 year old at one time..... I am now 4 and a half years into marriage with a woman I went to high school with and have our first child on the way. All is well. So, yea I guess you can say I know first hand. Oh, and I never turned her in.

I think we can all agree that there is a difference in the sexual desires and urges between boys and girls and the long term effect that may occur because of them.
Again I say, remember what you were like as a 14-16 year old boy. You would feel and be seen by your peers as "The Man"
Where as a girl of the same age would be looked at as diry, slutty, and cast out by her peers.
This is in general... obviously if it was a famous person her peers would feel differently, but society in general has a double standard when it comes sexual activity. This standard affect how and individual feels about themselves.

I think kyleF has good points, and he's right..
However, sex at that age could still mess up a young boy who's not ready for that stuff, and besides, until you are no longer a minor, you are your parent's responsibility. Do most parents want their 15 year old sons (or daughters) having sex with 28 year old people?

No definately not fair if she is using sex to manipulate a young man into doing other things for her. I.E. committing crimes of some sort. That is a completely different situation that what occured here.
Also Cameraboy, my mother was unaware of the situation.

What the hell kind of logic is this? If a child WANTS to do something, it therefore must be ok or even good for them?
Do you dispute the idea that sex at that age, in our society, with an adult, could be emotionally traumatizing for a child? And that a child of 16 might be very easily manipulated into doing something that his body wants him to do, but emotionally and mentally he does not want to do, by an experienced adult woman?

I agree, it doesnt work the other way around. Usually due in part to societies view of the roles in sex.
It seems to me in High School, all the boys had a natural desire to spread their seed (LOL), where as it seemed that most of the girls were just doing it to keep their boyfriends happy. This is affecting my view of the situation greatly.
I don't think a 16 year old boy would be damaged by an older woman just having sex with him. As long as it ends there. I think tryign to have a real relationship with her, or her manipulating him for her own motives outside of getting off would be what could damage him.
