I'd glob some epoxy on it and sand it down... not a perfect fix but it will stop the problem from getting any worse.

As long as it says "epoxy sealant" you should be good. Make sure you clean the area really well with rubbing alcohol first, if the core of the board is damp you should let it dry out first.

... also, just FYI, I've never repaired a wakeboard before but I used to work in a snowboard/ski shop and have repaired hundreds of snowboards with epoxy.

Had the same issue on one of my boards, took it to a guy who repairs windsurfing and kite boards. He used a syringe to inject some goodness into it so the top and bottom would bond, clamp that together and then epoxy over the top. Worked a treat mind you he didnt do a thing until he'd had it in his hot water cupboard for 2 days to make sure it was well and truly dry

Use epoxym, and once you placed it, put some tape over the epoxy so it will fit to your board Smile

Use fiberglass resin. It bonds better to glass (duh) and is much more sandable when it cures. Sun Cure is very good for it, it has bits of glass in it so its not as brittle as using just resin alone.

And another reason wakeboarding is better than surfing, you die less, that means you have another day to wakeboard, which is more fun than surfing anyway.
