| So im thinking about getting a new vest for the season and wondering if anyone rides a jetpilot falcon. I know that the a-10s dont really float you at all and i was wondering if the falcon did. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. |

They actually do float you a little, when i breath out, it still let me floats, but i am a light guy.
All the Jetpilot vests are comps, so not to floatable, but they fit perfectly (wich is worth much aswell ) _________________

| Not personally worn the Falcon. But if its a comp vest its not likely that it will float you very well. Jet Pilot has a pretty extensive selection off CGA vests. Shaun Murray has his signature vest and it is pretty well liked. Check em out! |

That looks awesome but I dont think its really USCG approved, that may be a typo on the web admins part. _________________ Lets see how many cliche inspirational sayings we can throw at the rider in one pull, they really do help... |

brotherbrown831,
I think the first one is USCG approved. It looks thin, but they wouldn't put an extra buckle if it wasn't going to be USCG.. |

ive never noticed that but now that i look at the vests, your right, all the comp ones have only one buckle and the uscg approved have two. very observant |

hrwake, it's really the definition of an approved type III PFD, there needs to be atleast three fastening points.. in addition to flotation guidlines.
I have, used to wear, a jet-pilot stance which was a side entry double buckle that i believe is now referred to as the core.. it was a bit big but floated me very well.
I got an XS/S and its about the same size as my helium inmate Large, but it is almost 4 years older so maybe sizing has changed over the years. _________________ Wake Forest University |
