First full weekend at the lake, it was choppy most of the day both days. The water did smooth out for a few hours in the evenings, got a little riding done. I'm getting really good control of my butterslides, so on to back slides Smile Was feeling pretty strong on Sun. so went for first W2W, buried the nose into the back side of the wake, covered up so no faceplant, but managed to take the full impact to the stomach, felt like I'd been sucker punched in the gut lol.Over all one of the best weekends I've had in quite some time. Anyway, some pics.

Medina, None taken, I'm just very happy that I am in a position and psychically able to ride at my age.

Okie Boarder, Thanks man, we've been chatting on the net, and phone for about a month now. This was our first time together, and we hit it off real well. I maybe ditching the single life, for good if she'll have me Wink

Anything that is helpful with the boat is a huge bonus!

Glad you found someone that clicks.

STAR for the over thirties club!

Over 40 club here and will fight Medina and any 2 friends of his choosing at the same time, anytime, anywhere. Just kidding Medina....but you are a punk kid...... No offense. Wink Mr. Green

My wakeboarding buddies all range in age from early 30's to mid 40's. The steeze may be a little dusty sometimes, but the 'core and the love run deep. Been in the water every month since June 2006 without fail. Don't aim to end the streak anytime soon.

Thanks for the pics. Looking forward to seeing more as the summer rolls on. Cool

Coolio! Glad ya had fun out there. Jen seems cool, definitely a keeper. My wife is the same...wakeboards with me, can drive the boat, and could do the boat and trailer thing if I wasnt so particular lol

I am turning 40 in 10 days! Im your elder, so if we ever hang out in the future, you will have to do what I say. Smile

ctgretzky99, my wife unloads and loads the boat, picks me up at the dock, and drives for my sets and lots of times for our boys. The only thing she doesn't do is back the trailer. She practiced a couple times this year already and she's getting the hang of it, but still has some work to do. She does OK, except she overcorrects a bit much still. That works itself out in time and that's what I told her. I'm very proud she isn't just a "trophy" on the boat and feel very blessed that she is able to do those things. In addition, she enjoys being at the lake as a family and wakeboards too.

JeffreyCH, as you've seen me just state, the enjoyment of the lake and wakeboarding, along with the abilities to help with the boat is a wonderful thing.

Many of my friends look at my wife and they are envious. Mr. Green

ctgretzky99, I saw a thing the other day saying that more money is spent on viagra and boob jobs then alzheimers research, so when people our age get old we'll be running around with hard-ons and perky tits and have no idea why Laughing

Totally awesome Okie. Having a cool wife makes all of the difference in the world. Amy will come out with the guys (and ride better than a couple too!) and hang out as well. She's also my best friend. I love hanging with her...lastnight after the kids went to bed, we played tennis, hung in the hot tub for almost 2 hours, came in the house and well...errrr. ya know, then she was tired, and wanted to nap on the couch and told me "why dont you play your video game" Cool She likes to fall asleep while I play it for some reason.

Lucky us, bro!

Okie Boarder, I'm so looking forward to this season, the whole boating thing is a 100x more enjoyable when that special someone is into it also. Jen has been around boats a lot in her life, so that is a major plus. Now if I can just get her to catch the WB bug....... Very Happy

ctgretzky99, Lucky indeed Cool

My wife does this, too, when I play NHL on PS2. Sometimes, I almost feel bad when I wake her up yelling at the game for a BS goal that is scored. Almost...

Glad to know I'm a part of this club of people that have a wife who drives, backs the trailer, helps with the boat, all that good stuff. She doesn't ride, but that is fine with me. Just means more time behind the boat for me. Feel lucky, boys. My dad gets absolutely NO help from my mom with his stuff. Irritates the piss out of him, too.

No more proud moment than overhearing someone say, "I've got to get a wife like that...." when mine is backing the trailer, driving my sets for me, etc. Very Happy

Laughing Im playing Bond 007 Quantum of Solace right now on the ps3. I do the multiplayer part (and kicking ass!) and I have to have the surround pretty loud as you can hear people coming up ladders and shots in the distance around you...but she falls asleep! And yea, every once in a while Im on the mic yelling at someone and she opens an eye.

My ex was your mom (wait, dont mean this like a mother joke!) and she did squat. Real bummer.

I love hearing people say things like that : "I've got to get a wife like that...." Makes me appreciate her for the few times I forget.
