im old enough too not wear my lifevest, but i still want to wear one while im wakeboarding....i have a wetsuit, and it has a built in life jacket...(in the winter) should i just wear my wetsuit without or with my life jacket? If the wetsuit is Coast Guard Approved I would just wear the wetsuit, although I've never heard of a wetsuit that doubles as a life jacket. I would doubt it is CGA and would wear the vest over your wetsuit.
If it is CGA you should see a logo on it somewhere stating it is. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone.
Some barefoot suits are actually CGA, my buddy has an Intensity that is though none of mine are. No need for a jacket over anything with built in flotation IMO. If you plan on going large and possibly could be injured wear a regular wetsuit and approved jacket. _________________
