Well after doing a lot of research for my first board i think i have it narrowed down to the LF Trip or PS3. I am fairly new to wakeboarding but don't want to spend money on a board that will easily be outgrown when skill level continues to increase. Is the PS3 much more difficult to ride than the Trip? Im searching for the older models to save a few bucks because i don't care about graphics. Also i see that most packages usually come with index or domain bindings. Are these bindings just the absolute bottom of the line or do they actually perform ok? Would i be better off buying just the board and looking for a deal on better bindings? It would be nice if the bindings had a little adjustability for other riders but its not a major issue as i will be riding it 95% of the time. Thanks

You won't outgrow either of those boards anytime soon. The PS3 is a pro model, but that doesn't mean you have to be a pro to ride it. The Trip is a more intermediate model but that doesn't mean it will hold you back. Pick which ever board you prefer and then pick out a QUALITY set of bindings to go with it.

Thanks for the help. So the index bindings wouldn't be considered quality? Would they do well enough for the first year or two of riding or would it be wise to go ahead and start with some of higher quality? Sorry for the probably common questions, i couldnt seem to get the search feature to bring up good results

tl3upn3dn, My opinion is that you shouldn't skimp on the bindings. You want bindings that are comfortable and supportive. Poor fitting bindings will definitely hold you back. In fact, they might make you not want to ride at all. Sad I would probably forego the Index and go with the Domain if those were my choices. In reality, I'd probably spend an extra $50 and find some closeout Shanes, Watsons, or Transits (since we're talking Liquid Force here) There are plenty of top quality closeout bindings available at all of the various online retailers, and of course there's always Ebay.
