I saw the coolest tower accessory this weekend on the perd. I didnt catch the make of the boat or tower, but they had two bucket seats mounted above the bimini facing backwards.
hope they had seatbelts

Tell me that isn't going to generate cracks in the gel-coat! I would also recomend adding OH-Shxx handles for those double-ups!

I was in my 02 X9, no stickers on side. First time on perd usually stay at Pace Bend and come around great time, imagine ridings was nice after storm on Sunday past thru

Definately not a good idea, sure it's a lot of fun until somebody . . . .
And hence the Darwin awards were born.

I wish I had a picture of it. The tower seemed rather large, and the seats were not at the very top (like the picture above). Instead, the seats were at the top of the main supports that attach to the boat. So they were a bit above the widshield and inside the tower (so they had the tower to hold on to.
It really was a pretty interesting concept. I wanted to watch a rider from em

I have actually fallen off of my tower before (Under the influence) and spun around and bruised my ribs on my tow pole.
Not a good idea to sit up there after a few (18 or so) beers.

Hmmm, seems rather interesting. I would like to be there when the sirens go off, just to get a good laugh.

Dizzy, I saw the boat you were talking about. It looked like a homeade tower, I swear it was like 12 feet from the floor of the boat! We were out in the red x-10 on sunday.

| I would like to see a tower with a IV drip-bag filled with beer. Kinda like those ridiculous hats with the cup holders. Now that would be a tower accessory.

Great idea tdes, you could even channel it throught the ballast pumps to create the ultimate funnel! Better yet, chilled ballast "kegs"!

So you're saying, have the chilled ballast kegs in front or back or wherever you can keep them cool, use the pumps to push the beer up to the top of the tower, where there will have to a secondary storage container (unless you can put a whole keg up on the tower ~ pretty shady idea with the cops and all). after that all you'd need is like a 1/2" tubing with a stop valve. My idea stinks compared to that, we'll just call it a collaborative effort then.
Unrelated to towers, I'm also trying to figure out a way to use the air intake for, uh, other purposes.

Now the chilled ballast's really is some good oneupmanship! We could be on to something here! Let the collaboration continue!

kegs in boats dont work, we tried. but the head never seems to go away, pumped out a whole keg of foam . I guess its best to designate 1 boat to stay stopped and have all the kegs in there ....

Hmm..good point. Wasn't thinking of that angle. Guess one would have to go for some type of non-carbonated ghetto-punch or something to that effect. Good lookin out PimpinD.
The whole idea of the beer IV system came from when I had to give my boat CPR and drive back to the launch while constantly dripping gas into the carburetor. Of course I know that's totally unsafe but we had no other viable option. My friend's arms got tired having to hold up the 5-gallon bucket and we tried to rig up ways to remedy that.

K-dub,
My brother was driving my boat because i was wasted and I climped up there and just fell off. I bruised my ribs on the ski pole. Not fun at all.
