So I have came across a what I see pretty good deal for a 2001 22IR. Its for 20k. Is this a good wakeboat? its got perfect pass and taps. and those two back compartments would be perfect for some fat sacks. How would this wake compair to a 01-03 mastercraft x10 or x2. The layout is pretty nice and big. Its in good condition. Any ride behind or know the boat very well? Got all the good stuff towerracks speakers sub all the extras. Oh and he is throwing in all of his wakeboarding equipment a parks hyperlight board and binding and what not:)

I recently rode behind one of these boats. I was on a completely new set-up so take what I say with a grain of salt. I think the wake was big enough with 2 bags in the back and one in the middle compartment, but the wake seemed fairly soft to me.

I personally like a really steep wake, and this was kind of an intermediate between steep and rampy.

I'd be really interested to sack it down a bit further, but I'd be afraid that it would just get softer. I should get to experience it a bit more this summer, so I'll let you know if my opinion changes at all.

Personally, I'd try and find a SAN or a X-star just because of the re-sale factor and that I just trust those companies a bit more than Tige.
