Painting/Coloring Your bindings?!?!

I am curious what type of paint or marker or whatever to use to paint my bindings. I have the 09 soven's and although they are the most comfy binding ever, I really really really hate how they look. I liked them at first obviously but now I just despise them. They look horrible on every board you setup and I want to change their color. All I want to do is make them black. Any suggestions?

aren't the limited sovens black? not sure I would try modifying them like that

Spray paint them if you hate them that bad.

Call a few auto body supply places and ask for leather dye used to re-dye car upholstery's, might do the trick.

the paint would work for a while. the bindings flexing would eventually cause the paint to crack & flake off....all over your boat. what color are they? maybe use a sharpie on them.

Black spray paint from home depot for like 3 bucks. If the paint starts to come off just respray them, I really wouldnt put too much effort into it after all its not a beauty contest.

Hobby stores, fabric stores, etc.

SEM dye you will have to order off their website. I used it in my Tahoe about a year ago to dye the seats black, still holding up well. They were leather seats BTW.

shaggyboarder, yes it is!! Those red bindings do not match anything except they did look pretty good on the premiers.

Sharpie, BIG sharpie. The black probably won't overtake them totally, making them look blood red. Or you could redo it twice, and get them black.

Paint will come off in a heartbeat. You need something to soak into the material. Sharpie ink or a dye of some kind.
