Any advice on braceting, placement, ways to make it sturdy?
We might just get one of those old tetherball poles wth the heavy round bottom and use that if we can't find a way/place to install a real one.

| Depending on how your tige's ski pylon is setup you might be able to just put it on that as long as you have something on the inside of the pole to grip onto the pylon/slightly secure it.

What do you mean like on the small ski pylon on the back?
I was kind of thinking of putting it inside the boat, like on/in the floor so that we have circle seating around it haha.

K-wood Kid, good choice! I support that decision.
And hey, how have we still not ever ridden together?

do you have a place to mount a table in the floor?
never used ours so I'm not sure how it could work but maybe try to find a pole with the same dimensions as the pole supporting the table and try to find a way to mount it securely?

savage3221, haha I'm good man, just in Houston for the break and hoping to have some fun.
I think I'm going to find a pole with basically the same diameter as the ski pole and then shave the ski pole down a tiny bit so the stripper pole fits over it snuggly. If not we will "borrow" an indoor tetherball pole with the heavy dome bottom.

Deegan and I are riding at Goodtimes tomorrow. I don't have a stripper pole, but you and a few strippers are welcome to join.

| If you have a tower they make poles that connect from the tower to the floor.

If you dont care about putting a hole in your floor then drill a hole (for the pole)through a peice of wood for one to go under the floor and one over the floor with 4 8in screws clamping them together and have the pole just sitting on a piece of wood on the bottom with an indention so u can just easily slide it in and out but still sturdy...

I think a guy in Austin has this setup. The install looked really clean on his Naut.
Maybe Mynx poles will start selling better than other boat accessories.. I know the market has taken a big hit but maybe the pole can bring it back to life..

| Once I finish college, am living on my own, have my own boat, I definitely plan on getting a stripper pole. I might even get a pole before tower speakers.

Anyone know how they accomplished the pole mounted to the pylon? Seems like a perfect place.
I have a Mabius XLV and wanted one that could slip over the pylon.

Seconded.
lazyboy had this setup down in his old boat back in 03. Took him less than 2 minutes from zero to hero (stripper pole).

From Lowes? Doubt it, you could build it and tear your boat up....

urinal mint, no. No you can't. Not out of stainless steel and of that quality.
If done right on a boat, they can bring pimp power like nobodies business. Done wrong, and you are "that guy".
Whatever you do, you must be diligent in monitoring the pole. You can't let one fatty on there, or your reputation will be tarnished. Sexy girls will think they will look like fatty on the pole, and will avoid it. Only allow hotness on the pole.

| haugy- thats why you only bring hotness on the boat, and make sure that the hotness you brought brings more hotness, so then the insecure hotness have subtle dancing competitions and slutoffs to impress you. Serious profit.

| hco, I guess you don't raft up with others? We do, and if you aren't carefull, a drunk fatty will drift over thinking she should do it. Epic failure.

The problem with the "slip on" versions is the diameter gets too big and they can't pull off all the same moves. Direct pylon replacement is the only way to go.
hco, good luck with 100% hotness only on the boat. I envision your boating career to be 100% sausage fest if that is the case.

| There are no party coves or tie ups other than buddies and myself (so at most 3), so it is easy for me to only allow hotness on the boat.
