Alright, this is one of the few things that I actually miss from not being in New England (spent the last 4 summers working in CT for internships).
One of my best high school friend's dad works for a beer company called Pyramid (They have some okay stuff, some I like some I don't).
Magic Hat was my favorite micro-brew from the North East... they bought out Pyramid this summer. I got the phone call the other day that Magic Hat is now available in Texas.
Rejoice.
My buddies dad said that they are stopping brewing the Circus Boy Heff (one of my favorite Heff's ever)... but I'm okay with that as long as I can get some of that sweet sweet Number 9.
If you've never had this beer... you really need to try it out it is really freaking good.
So... this thread really doesn't have a purpose other than Magic Hat is the sh*t... so what's your favorite brew? |

Cool. I'll have to give it a try.
La Fin Du Monde (The end of the world) by Unibroue is one of my favorites for nicer beers. Triple fermentation golden Ale 9% ABV _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

| jt09, I've been to the saucer quite a few times, I love that place... but have never asked the question. Do you know if they fill growlers? If they do, then I'm heading down to Dallas this weekend and filling a couple of those up. |

| They are discontinuing circus boy? I honestly preferred that over number 9, but I will forever have a soft spot for #9 in my heart, THE best beer on a hot summer day. |

Yeah, we got awesome pizza and there is an upstairs bar and one in the basement. Outside seating by the river when the weather gets nicer. Ask for Brad, tell him Nikolai is buying you a beer. I might be stopping in late tonight but I pop in every now and then randomly. _________________ jt09 wrote:

Thanks for the offer but I think I'll make a silent entrance... just picturing the scenario
Me: Nikolai said this beer is on him.
Bartender: Ok cool, how do you know Nikolai?
Me: We are friends on the internet.

Magic Hat is delicious! #9 is the best of their brews but they are all good.
Also, Sam Adams White Ale. I think I like it more cause its the changing of the cold season to the warm season when it comes out. Boat's and Bar-B-Q's! _________________ If you don't live for something, you will die for nothing. |

I've been drinking Blue Moon lately. Yuengling, Boddington, or even MGD otherwise. If I see Magic Hat available somewhere I'll give it a try. _________________
