| The people at Malibucrew will be biased toward Malibus but that will not effect there opinion of value. |

Very True. So, I am guessing I am more curious as to if anyoen on here has ridden behind one and how its wake is with the manual wedge as to other boats. _________________ Always looking for others who ride on Norris Lake in TN

Sorry, I have not ridden behind one. I have an 07 VLX(power wedge) and wakesetter hull and the wake for surfing is excellent and the wake for boading is great. I have only ridden behind x-stars and my boat, wakes are different, I think the VLX has a bigger stock wake but when that x-star is loaded down it would be hard to beat.
I have read that the VLX and LSV are fairly similar wake wise (depends on hull and other factors though.
That is low hours for that boat, just depends on price and condition. I am not familiar with the specs, does it have full ballasts?
If you ski, probably not a good choice, otherwise I do not think you will be dissappointed. That is a fairly big boat with great seating capacity, probably handels better than any other boat in that class and it will hold its own as far as wakes when compared to anything else.
Really depends on how you will be using your boat specifically. |

The boat is on the Diamond Hull, has 3 tank ballast, manual wedge. My Primary will be wakeboarding, and I would like to try surf. I do ski a bit, but not on a course. Neither does anyone that comes with me. However, some do liek to ski.
None of us are pros or attempting to be pros at any of the above. Oh, and ofcourse there is always pulling a tube. _________________ Always looking for others who ride on Norris Lake in TN

It sounds like it is missing the bow ballast, I would think that would be a necessity, IMO. You could get an after market ballast for the bow though.
With the diamond hull you could probably ski behind it but I still do not think it would be that pleasurable. If you want to ski, I would look at somthing else. |

kyle f, I've never ridden behind one but that sounds like a good boat. I've heard good things about the Bu's. Do a search and see what you come up with. I have no idea what the price should be for that particular boat. It sounds like it is ready to go and you can always add ballast to it. From what I've read you get either two or three ballasts with bu's and since that one has three it means one of them is in the bow. I do know the 23 is a big boat. _________________ Sportbike Track Time Southern Division Instructor |

Well, just test drove it tonight. It was awesome. Handled chop well, drove like a dream, made a tremendous wake, and had no issues with wedge down and all tanks filled. Actually it was down right intimidating to a rider at my level.
What impressed me the most, was the wake size and shape with just the wedge down. Its actually pretty good. So, with the flick of the wedge you can go from tube or ski wake to a decent wakeboard wake.
We have some details to work out with the dealer. So, we will see what happens. _________________ Always looking for others who ride on Norris Lake in TN
