I did not realize there was a distance when installing the fuse on the power cable 18 inches from the battery. I would say my fuse is about 2 ft from the battery, will this hurt the system in any way? _________________ If you don't live for something, you will die for nothing. |

No it won't hurt it, but the figures there for a reason. If there's an issue the unfused section of the wire is in danger, thus the less of it there is, the better.
