Hey guys,

Lookin for a new board for 09 and not quit sure what direction to go. riding an 06 watson with 06 watson bindings.. looking for something with a similar ride and feel but a little more aggressive and faster.

Looking at: murray, Sub6, and S4
Havent really heard much about the Sub6 besides the price (which is ridiculous).. has anyone ridden it? and how would this board and the other two compare to each other as well as the 06 watson im on right now?

thanks

Sub 6 is the same shape as a hyperlite 3ds/pulse. Not gonna have that vertical boot that your watson has, but will definitely be faster. The S4 or Murray are gonna be your best bet for a fast, hard-popping board. The murray has very crisp edges, so it really hooks up and hauls ass into the wake, and takes a very quick, responsive turn. The S4 has a bit softer rail, but it's rocker and concaves allow it to still be very fast, just with a mellower, floatier turn-in. The S4 is a bit tighter than the watson, the murray a bit looser, especially through the belly

My buddy rides that same Watson and he has taken a liking to my 09 Transcend, the pop is a little smoother and it is a bit faster on edge. It also lands a ton softer! Check it out, its hard to beat IMO.

The Liquid Force Lyman is a sick board. Faster than the Watson and Shane, but not super fast. Pops really hard as well

just got back from the local boardshop and saw both the murray and viva +cell bindings [which were siick and waaay light!] and the guys going to give a pretty good deal on the viva.. they didnt have the LF boards in yet so i couldnt check out the S4. but i was hearing that the two would ride pretty similarly.

So i think it is between the S4 and Viva... any input??

Soven is like a faster version of Watson. You would love the 09's because the edges are rounded in between your feet and the spine is huge it really lands awesome. Try that or the Lyman. If you are LF guy you may not like Hyp as much they're heavier, pop different, and edges aren't as nice. I haven't seen the 09 Hyps.

Can you demo?????? That is so key.
