I'm looking at buying a 2007 x-15 and the current platform on the back of the boat is the wood one. I really like the look of the fiber glass with the black rubber. But I was wondering does the platform sit somewhat under the water when the boat isn't moving? If not does the rubber get really hot? too hot to stand on?

thanks in advance

No it doesn't sit underwater, no it doesn't get any hotter than any other platform.
It is somewhat expensive to buy from the dealer

My Malibu has a black rubber platform. It is fine in the summer.
