| Has anyone tried this combination for taking mold and mildew off boat seats? weve tried pretty much everything, Magic eraser, simple green, and all the other stuff your not supposed to use because its too strong lol... but we absolutely cannot get the mildew off the vinyl seats, when doing some research I came across this combination and wondered if anyone had tried it? |

I work in a upscale sea food restaurant, and we use that to clean the mold out of our coffee pots. I don't see why you couldn't try it thou. _________________ Go big or go home. |

| Lemon is pretty acidic, if you use it... make sure to wipe off the juices soon. |

I use this spray called X-14, it's really just glorified bleach in water, but it works amazing. If the cushions are covered in mildew I'll spray X-14 on it and let it sit for like 2 mnutes, it'll wipe right off after that. If I forget about it it'll take all the mildew off without wiping.
It works great, but as I've already said it's really just bleach in water (it will discolor clothes) but it hasn't done anything to my gray carpet.

Be careful with scrub brushes and very abrasive cleaners on the vinyl it'll deteriorate any manufacturers protective coatings against UV and in some cases make it more prone to mildew.
You've tried bleach and water? |
