If you are looking for a water ski or wakeboard vacation with your friends or family then you have found the place. We are not a camp or ski school. We are a private home where you can enjoy the sport of water skiing or wakeboarding free from the regimented setting of a camp or ski school. Wakeboard or water ski across our almost 1mile/1.5 kilometers lake and enjoy unlimited and uninterrupted sessions on the glassiest conditions. You can start early and ride til sunset. Lake Florence is a natural spring fed 100 acre lake. Professionally installed slalom course and wide lake runs for wakeboarders make this the perfect trip for family and friends who, like my family, enjoy both water sking and wakeboarding. As a testament to the ideal conditions you will find the only regular skiers are Kris & Jennifer Lapoint, legendary water skiers with a penchant for detail and ideal conditions tell you this is one of the best kept secrets in central Fl.
Located at 17536 CR 455 Montverde Fl 34756 between Winter Garden & Clermont in Lake County. A small picturesque town, just minutes off Exit 272 of the Fl Turnpike in the heart of water ski and wakeboard country. There are many camps, pro skiers, and wakeboarders that will be glad to come by for personal instruction. Drive time to Airport, Disney, & Universal is less than 30 minutes and only minutes to resturants, groceries and more.
For boats, we offer you two MasterCraft boats to chose from: a 2006 Tournament Team ski boat w/perfect pass and MCX 350 HP engine and the orginal boat used in the X-Games, a 2007 X-1 for wakeboarders. Boats are available Nov. 15th till June 5th. The boats are ride ready when you arrive with a full tank of gas and several spare 6 gallon tanks ready to go.
For more information go to www.vrbo.com/182514 There you will find out about accomodations, the house rates, and more, with pictures of the interior of the house, lake and pier. If you have questions email waterskivacations@gmail.com or call 252 256 2018

| 800 lbs of water ballasts and a few spectators is all it takes to get a good wake out of an X-1. If you want a few more pounds we keep about 300 lbs or so of sand bags well wraped so they will not tear handy in the storage garage. Each bag is 50 lbs. It is a lot better than lead weights and safer. Easy to move around the boat to get the right weight distribution also. Good looking babes are always the best ballast would be my suggestion. |
