Hello everybody,

Se me being new and all I thought I'd post in the newbie section. (still also can't really wakeboard that well so it makes sense)

I got this board for valentines and I wonder where it's good for. Till this moment the things I can do are carve and make a tiny jump on the first wake and land it. I tried to make boardslides on the wake(i'm still struggling with the wakeboard slang so if somethings not clear I'll try to make it more clear).

I really want to get the basics down this season though. But.. what are the basics?

Till now i've been using a rental board with bindings which were a bit to loose so I kept getting out of them with every fall.
Anyways, I tried to search for the board type I believe it's an older Hyperlite Divine. I couldn't find the bindings so i'm not sure which those are.

oh, don't mind me I just got out of bed

Here some action shots from last season. with my frist jumpingtries on it;
first time i got so excited I didn't even make it to the wake Rolling Eyes

okay jump(uh.. pop. sorry bout that)

this didn't really work out well either

the next time boarding

here i was trying to slide the wake it looks like crap though..

I hope you can give me some advice Smile

This is in Vinkeveen on the Vinkeveense plassen. It's near amsterdam!

Where do you board? Very Happy
Me at wakeboardschool Vinkeveen. Haven't been boarding much though this summer was crap!! And the summer before that was too. So I really hope this summer turns out to be a bit warmer and with less wind.

What are you going to work on this season?

I am going to work on the railey, my surfacetricks and maybe a tantrum.

I wakeboard behind a boat in Zwartsluis (near Zwolle).

And i wakeboard behind a cablepark in Dankern (Germany)

I live in a small town close to germany, called Emmen Razz Soo i am more of a cableboarder Laughing

I've only ever boarded behind a boat. Would be fun to try the cable though! There's wet 'n wild in alphen a/d Rijn I guess we'll go there this season. I hope I can get enough money together though they charge a crazy 30 euro's for 15 minutes here in Vinkeveen and from what I've heared the cable isn't that cheap also Sad

hahaha Mr. Green I don't know what a railey is.. I believe a tantrum is some kind of roll over the wake right?

Kind of yes, and the Railey is just soo sexy.Razz Here i tried it on a trampoline:

Since i live next to germany, cable is VERY cheap, its 15 Euros for 2 hours!!!!!

I went to Alphen aan de Rijn a few times, its a little small, but ok. (And very expensive in comparison to germany
Smile )

hahahaha is that you?
I still have no clue what a railey is. but if I were you I wouldn't try it on water yet Mr. Green
Is that a helpfull thing to practise on a trampoline? Wouldn't it be better to have your board on your feet while you practise on the tramp. ?

We had the plan to go for a roadtrip through germany last summer for all the cableparks but we didn't get round to it. But I guess it's still cheaper to drive to Germany for a day than to go to Alphen(did you know that great house burned down?)

I'm gonna search for raileys on youtube now. if it's sexy i have to learn it. Mr. Green Have to make up for my lack of boobsize Mr. Green Mr. Green

Razz For sure it will make up for that, actually all wakeboardgirls are hot Cool

BTW... the railey is pretty difficult, and since i live 10minutes from a cablepark in germany i call myself lucky Very Happy

But 30 euros for 15 minutes is sooo expensive, when we go to the boat we have 30 euros for a whole day Smile (Friend has a boat)

oooooh damn!!
We have to hook up this summer and go boarding Smile if it's okay if I bring along two others I'll happily pay 30 euro's for a whole day!!

yeah it's supposed to be with instruction but till now I pretty much had to figuer(is that spelled right?)it all out myself. Guess that's also the reason I don't know any of those wakeboard therms Mr. Green I've been calling bindings shoes for a year..(also beceause shoes sounds better).

I guess you have to go really high for the railey beceause you're stretched out all the way! A tantrum seems easier beceause it's faster.

Wel some basic 360 spinning could be good. Preferable remove your board fins, so you learn real edging, but when i catch up with you on msn we can talk about it Smile
