Has anyone seen this yet?
http://mastercraft.com/300/
It seems MC is getting more and more into the higher-end boats. |

I have seen some press information on that boat. Looks like Mastercraft is reaching out into other markets. They have a number of boats now listed in the yacht category now. _________________ Wakeskating

It was just a graphic with the same website logo. I think it said something about them having it at a boat show. _________________ Wakeskating

Nice boat, but my concern is that hull design. I don't know the test results, but by looking at that hull, she isn't set up for serious waves. I wonder how it handles. Looks nice though. I'd rock it if it was given to me. But for the price, I can get better. |

I wonder if it will have a canvas option to enclose the cockpit for bad weather.... looks much to opened up to facilitate this.

Not a bad looking boat at all. Strange seeing Mastercraft go into a whooooole different game, but pretty cool that they are expanding their market. They are going in the right direction, IMO, with the new boats they are making. |

Overseas in the wealthy arab emirates and whatnot people could not get enough of the x80 and the biggest boats mc was making, so they are expanding their line to accomodate wealthier customers. I wouldn't be suprised to see another bigger model come out if they keep doing as well over there. |

I didn't know the X-80 was such a big hit there. They should do fairly well with the new yachts then. |

interesting that they are offering a vw-sourced turbo diesel for an engine, and have seen it in their ski boats... |

sandm, its been available for a while, but is an expensive upgrade.
now, relatively speaking, its a fairly well priced upgrade on these big boats when taking into account the increased reliability and fuel savings.
It really is time one of the big tow boat manufacturers got stuck into a new engine... there's only so much you can do with a 5.7 V8 block that's been around longer than most wakeboarders have been alive! _________________ www.AxisBoats.co.uk | www.Malibu-Boats.co.uk |

The one thing that sucks about diesel engines is how much stuff they would put into our lakes and waterways. So much soot and other crap that would probably create a massacre is every big boat manufacturer had it in all their boats. |
