2009 Competitions

Hey everyone,

I thought it might be a cool idea to have a thread (unless there already is one, which if there is, apologies) where everyone can post '09 wake/wakeskate events that they know about, maybe in or around their area, or just major dates like Pro Tour events, etc. It would be a cool reference to have for people who want to do some competitions, or just go to them, or just like the info or w.e. If we got enough people to throw info on here we could have a nice little reference for everyone? And please let me know if there already is a place to find this info, and this thread is kinda pointless Laughing

I know of two events coming up. I live in Tampa, and WaterSports West and Forte's are putting on a tounament series at Tower Lake, no dates yet, should be mid/late February. And OWC does the Gravel Tour Series in Orlando that starts March 21st.

Forgot, Wake events too, like boat shows, college ride, any kind of board shop "demo day" or smthn, red bull events like the one in downtown i.e., I know some of these events are posted in different places at different times, but I was just thinking it might be a cool idea to have them all in one place for everyone.

We post the events in our event schedule whenever event organizers send those to us. If you have any events you can submit them and we will get them online in the event schedule. Then you can just search the event based on the state you are in. If you have a large event you can even send in a event write-up and we will cross promote the event on Wakeboarder.com and Wakeskating.com.
