What's a good place to wakeboard around the Pomona, CA area?

head south on i-15 to lake elsinore or to perris lake. or make some friends that ride at canyon lake. otherwise, head north for about 6 hours to the delta.

I would like to second jumalian. Start driving. When I was in LA I drove down to Elsinore or SD at least twice a month to ride.

You are forgetting Castaic Lake, Lake Piru, Lake Pyramid, Lake Puddingstone... All within 1 hour driving time from LA.

Elsinore is only good until 10 on the weekends. I work during the week, so I cannot comment on those days.

The only time I have been to Piru, the wind was really bad.

All the lakes near LA (Castaic, Piru, Pyramid) get really windy and crowded on the weekends.

ahhh nevermind I see the problem. It is pretty much a completely open lake, no coves or anything to hide from the other boaters and roaches. Lake Piru looks beautiful also.

Piru isn't very pretty. Around LA, there really isn't anything.

Just north of San Bernadino in Hesperia is Silverwood Lake SRA. You might check that out. I've never been but it looks pretty cool.
