Anyone from around the central IL area that rides? I don't know too many people that do and thought it'd be cool to meet up with some other riders from around here during the summer.

sweet. I've been up to Clinton lake...I have cousins up there that live in bloomington but go down to clinton...is it any good to ride on though? I haven't been on it in a couple years

Clinton's fine in the morning and evening. During the weekend it gets pretty bad with traffic, same as Shelbyville. It is great at the beginning and end of the year though, since the water is so warm.

Not too many of us from central illinois, but I think there are one or two other guys from Shelbyville.

Oh and me and my friend are wantin to set up a rail pool and all that on his land too...so I thought that'd be pretty sick.

well I live in shelbyville...but our favorite spot is the cove back in wolf creek (cove 3)..whenever there aren't a crapload of dumb tourists it's perfect water...and if you go all the way back in the cove there's a little stretch that's glass all the time. It'd be perfect to set up a rail or kicker or something because it's secluded and there's hardly ever anyone back there. How's wilburn ride? I've been up there but never ridden.

there are a couple spots, but it is a horseshoe going from the boat ramp around to the trussel bridge. we do double ups on the turn arounds by the bridge and by the ramp. its pretty fun on weeknights.

Sweet. Yeah during the weekdays in the summer there's not much luck for calm water lol...soo many freakin people there.
