|
|
| Not just lookin to see everyone's favorite handle and rope, but where and what is the best deal on a combo? Definitely want to go with coated and don't really have a preference on a handle as long as it doesn't turn out to be an anchor. Anyone know where to find a good deal? a good deal is probably around fifty. found a few on ebay that are close and i've been watchin BBB and ASD now |

I think some good combos are the
Proline LG handle combo new they run $119.
Proline LG Combo
Accurate just released a coated handle combo at $129.99
Accurate Chamois Combo
Not sure about any ebay deals on combos unless they are last season. The LG combos are the same from last year so you might be able to find some of those on closeout. _________________ Wakeskating

| dbismyname, BBB or sites like that would be your only chance of getting a deal as good as 50 bucks for something decent. my handle right now is the Ronix North and it's amazing, and the accurate A-line is by far the best rope i have ever used. flixmaster's second combo looks pretty awesome, but i guess it's a wee bit above your current budget |

| oh yeah and what's the deal with carbon handles? is it just the solid handle style? as in not constructed with rope? what is everyone's opinions on them cause i've found some deals on hyperlite-accurate carbon handles with accurate mainline for like 70 |

I have that Accurate Carbon Handle/mainline your talking about and I love it. Not a complaint. I had a Bullet line and handle before and I like the Accurate line and handle way better. _________________ 2010 Watson Hybrid

Don't cheap out on the handle. i bought one from my local shop and I bent it once and took it back. I bent it slightly again at the end of the year. Don't buy your shops local made brand and as you get what you pay for! _________________ Don't do anything rash.....and don't do anything to get a rash... |

yeah our shop isn't much of a shop. that have random boat parts, three wake boards, and normal multipurpose ski ropes. only thing useful we've gotten from them was a suction cup mirror when we couldn't find a third.
I think I might look into that accurate carbon handle, looks nice. but I've also found an Ambush? handle and rope combo for 89 over at BW.com but the rope's not even coated. So I think that accurate might be the way to go |

| i wouldn't get a carbon fiber handle, they've been known to hit people pretty good on the head or hit your board and shatter |

| the one we use now is made out of a metal bar and from kmart, Airhead I think. It's never hit any of us in the head or hit the board, but maybe I should go with the Ambush cause it's not a carbon handle |
